The ST1 Ophthalmology Foundations Question bank

Our philosophy is that you learn best by being tested. In medical school, we have gotten familiar with question banks for revision and testing the knowledge that we’ve picked up. Interviews are no different, and whilst mock interviews are an invaluable resource, theres’ no substitute for questions to expose the gaps in your knowledge.

We plan to host 5 mock-interview workshops between October and the interview date
  • As close to the real thing as you can get
  • Under interview conditions, you will simulate the patient consultation station
  • As in the real thing, this will be timed and with cases you’ve not seen

I have applied for Ophthalmology on three occasions. All applications resulted in a job offer, however, I chose to wait to obtain a number in the specific deanery I wanted to work within. I have used various different resources and ST Interview is in a class of it's own in terms of content, value for money and the sheer volume of interview practice sessions available. If you want a training number I can't recommend ST Interview highly enough!

The course is very valuable, containing numerous example stations to go through in your own time, as well as frequent opportunities to practice with other applicants and gain feedback from successful ophthalmology trainees. The course also donates to Orbis, which is a huge plus!
