Safe Anaesthesia Worldwide

We are delighted to be supporting Safe Anaesthesia Worldwide (SAWW) in their incredible work with every sign-up to https://stinterview.com/ast/.

SAWW provides anaesthesia equipment and training to low-income countries and responds to disasters. Most recently they have funded the provision of CPAP equipment, as well as spares for servicing, to effectively treat respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) in babies at Mbale Regional Referral Hospital in Uganda, so that lifesaving CPAP treatment of babies is never interrupted. In another project, they provide funding to support in-country teaching fellows to the Zambia Anaesthesia Development Program (ZADP) that trains doctors to become specialist anaesthetists in Zambia, the recruitment for which is currently ongoing.

We think that their targeted selection of causes shows how well they use their expertise and resources to make sure patients worldwide can safely receive the treatments they need. Founded by anaesthetist Roger Eltringham and run entirely by volunteers, they are celebrating their 10-year anniversary this year!

If you sign up for our anaesthetics interview course, you automatically donate to Safe Anaesthesia Worldwide.

For every sign-up to our platform, you are funding one endotracheal tube for use in a developing country. https://stinterview.com/courses/ast/
