Thank you to all subscribers who joined our first 2022 Interview Workshop in October! We were really impressed with the level of competency that you’ve brought to the table, considering it’s still early in the interview preparation process. We hope you found the mock interview helpful and that you will join us again on 20 November to practice with another member of the ST Interview Network. You will be practising with 2 new “patient consultation” stations that we will be releasing just for this virtual peer mock.
Missed the first workshop this year? Not to worry – there is still plenty of time to practice your interview skills with us: Our workshops offer you an opportunity to practice answering past interview questions live and under timed conditions. You will be paired with a fellow ST Interview subscriber and split into a virtual breakout room. Each of you will get to act as patient and examiner using realistic interview scenarios provided by stinterview.com.
All our mock interview workshops are hosted by top scoring ophthalmology trainees who are happy to answer your questions. Our aim is to provide a friendly environment where you can get into the habit of speaking to unfamiliar people under timed conditions. No need to be polished and perfect just yet: just get a feel of how you react when you are put on the spot.
